Hi, my name is Marcel Jähde and I was born in 1978. I'm the creator of this website. If you want to know a little bit more about me, read the following lines:

I was born and raised in Recklinghausen. That's in Germany and near Cologne. After 13 years of school I did my apprenticeship as a computer scientist. Currently I'm working as a software developer in Mönchengladbach with the special subject: Internet. What else could it be?

Since 1990 I'm a huge Indiana Jones and later Harrison Ford fan. I collect everything I can get. My collection is growing every day. My flat looks like a cinema covered with Indy and Harrison Ford related stuff. At the beginning my parents and friends thought that is only a short phase of my life, but know the gave up hope. I'm afraid I'll never change.

In my free time I like to go out with friends, watch and play soccer. I'm also a big fan of the German soccer team Hamburger SV. From time to time I like to go to the movies especially when a new Harrison Ford film is out.

That's a good question. There are days, I really don't know why I put so much time and energy into this site. But mostly I do it, because I like it. That sounds very simple, doesn't it. I like it to share my knowledge and facts with other Indiana Jones fans around the globe. And there is another important fact. I don't waste my time with it, because many people visit my site every day. www.indianajones.de is one of the biggest and best known site on the net.

What is your favourite Indiana Jones movie?
It depends on my mood. Raiders has the best story, Temple of Doom the most action and Last Crusade is always fun to watch.

What is your favourite Indiana Jones game?
It's definitely Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. It's the game with the best story, fun and atmosphere. After all these years still entertaining to play and much better than the new 3D games like Tomb Raider. It's an all time classic and I guess everybody played it.

There are several I really enjoyed reading.

What are your expectations for the fourth movie?
That the new movie will be as good as the old ones. Not too much special effects like in the new Star Wars movies, a good and absorbing storyline and great and exotic locations.

Have you ever met one of the 'Big Three' and what they are saying about your site?
In 2002 I met Harrison Ford in Cologne. He was there to promote his movie K-19: The Widowmaker. I stood in front of the red carpet. There was no time to talk with each other, but he signed my picture. Great day! Still one of my bests.
